Mother…

A word with the deepest meaning.

A person with an affectionate feeling

A simple touch of her is a divine healing

A courteous smile on her face is so pleasing

She is determined and remains strong

Showing us the path and walking along

At dark phases, shows us the lights

Takes us out from the sleepless nights 

While walking whenever we stumble

You motivate us to cross the hurdle 

Whenever we are lost and cannot find our way.

You come as sun and spread your rays.

You deserve all happiness, it is your day.

Live long, Stay blessed, that’s all we have to say

याद है वो पल

याद है वो पल जब नन्ही परी ने  इस दुनिया में कदम रखा था

ज़िन्दगी रंग लाई थी और मन खिलखिला उठा था

गुड़ीया को जब मैंने पहेली बार गोदी लिया था

ज़िन्दगी का असली मतलब मैने उस दिन सीखा था

उसकी आँखों की चमक ने मुझे जगमग किया  था

याद है वो पल जब उसकी मासूम हसीं ने मेरा दिल जीत लिया था

नन्ही सी ऊँगली ने जब मेरा हाथ थामा था

पल भर के लिए समय ही थम सा गया था

लड़खड़ा के जब उसने चलना सीखा था

उसकी चाल को देख के मन गदगद हो गया था

पहेली बार जब उसने मुझे माँ बुलाया था

आँखे नम हो गयी थी , जीवन का असली महत्व समझ आया था ..

ना जाने कब मेरी नन्ही गुड़िया , इतनी बड़ी हो गयी

मेरे घर का जगमग तारा किसी और के घर की रौशनी बन गयी
